This PRS 513 features a special order quilted maple top with a custom Black Cherry finish. Every top from PRS is a bit different, and this one is no exception. The edges of the quilt patterns are sharper and more defined than we're used to, which creates a hauntingly beautiful effect with the alternating red and black of the finish. The Pattern Regular neck gives you all the comfort and playability you'll need for any style of music. Electronics-wise, this PRS 513 features a dual blade switching system. One is a 5 way pickup selector switch and the other is a 3 way mode switch that allows you to run the guitar in single coil, clear humbucking or heavy humbucking mode. This allows for a dramatic range of tonal variance as well as unique combinations that will always keep your ears inspired. Other features on this axe include a 25 1/4" scale length, rosewood fretboard, a PRS tremolo bridge and PRS Phase III Locking Tuners. This guitar was made at the tail end of 2012, so you'll see a "12" at the beginning of the serial number even though the Eagle Tags say 2013. You'll have a tough time exhausting the possibilities of this guitar.
